Default Essential 4-wheeling stuff....

I was just thinking, what kinds of things does everyone take with them on a 4-wheeling trip?

Like what essential things should you take with you on a journey out into the wild for a day of fun?

There are some pretty good ideas on that list about what one should have. I'm gonna copy and paste it here, without the descriptions for each. Even though they are all good ideas, having everything on a list like that could get pretty expensive. What would be everyone's idea of the bare basics to have off a list such as this?

Trail Buddy
CB Radio
Cellular Phone
Ham Radio
Shovel
Crowbar
Tow Strap/****** Strap/Recovery Strap
Rear Tow Hook
Front Tow Hook
Flashlight
First Aid Kit
Hand Tools
High-Lift Jack
Spare Tire
Fire Extinguisher
Camera
Winch
Come-A-Long
GPS
Topographic Map
Lug Wrench and Jack
Jack Platform
Water Jugs
Black Electrical Tape
Extra Fluids
Heavy Leather Gloves
Medic Alert Tag
Food and drink

I don't know if I'm reading over it, or it's been mentioned.

This comes from personal experiences with ATVs, since they don't have a spare tire.

Tire Plugs, and some sort of inflator. Maybe even some Tire Slime.

Make sure the lug wrench fits the lug nuts too. I have had a truck before, that one of the lug nuts had been replaced with an odd size and been stranded because I couldn't get it off.

A can of fix-a-flat might be a bad thing to carry either, but I'm unsure about that stuff.

Haha, I've been there and one that before too. I had a friend with me though, as a passenger. It was a pretty fun experience. We had stopped at a gas station and had some junk food to eat, and we managed to get a little fire going, so it wasn't all bad.

All depends on the excursion.
At the minimum is a buddy and tow strap.

The more serious the off-roading the more crap you need to bring.
