I'm in Oshawa and there are good trails in Raglan. There is an amazing set of trails north of Peterborough between Buckhorn and Bancroft (just giving you a broad range of places to get a general idea of where the trails are). Greens Mountain is the place, if you've never heard of it. My first offroading experience (besides when I was a kid with my dad) was there. You could spend a day in there, for sure.

If you want more info, send me a PM. I can get you hooked up with some Jeep guys (and one K5 Blazer guy) that go often that could give you better info. My girlfriend is in a club that organizes trail runs there often.
