good places to off road??

I'm from Long Island, New York and I'm looking for some good places to go. i found a place south of exit 71 thats not bad. most of the places around that I know of are beaches, and i want mud and dirt not sand lol.

You should come down to Jersey then. I know its a drive from LI, but Wharton is worth the drive.

Where do you go wheelin in Wharton? My family lives in Seaside Park and I too live on Long Island. I hang with a bunch of guys who drive out to Rausch Creek in PA to wheel but are looking for some place new.

Wharton is pretty much all legal with exception to marked no trespassing parts and private property along the outskirts. We go out there all the time also. Raush is too far a drive for us.

Im sorry I need to dig this thread up since I just found it. Ive been offroading for a long while now. Theres a placed called the powerlines over by where I live and then a place over by LongWood Middle Island that has to be one of the best if not the best places on Long Island
