Lemont, Illinois offroad

Never went offroading with my blazer so i was excited to get out and try it.
I ended up going with my friend who has a sxt tacoma which sits lower and has no 4wd but he just wanted some mud on his tires. He ended up tweaking something in his suspension so he sat out and let me have some fun. And i had a lot of it!

Damn it!!!! Now i cant wait for my next trip!!

Jisher 04-22-2010 08:55 PM

Thats whats nice about this place. Its literally less than 5 minutes away from my house. I turn out of my driveway, make obe right and follow a dirt road till the end.

tofunater 04-23-2010 12:03 PM

Where's this place at? I've been lookin for a decent, legal place to go for awhile.

Benedict1337 04-23-2010 01:30 PM

looks like fun. I need to go soon

Jisher 04-23-2010 03:42 PM

If youve been in Lemont you probably know about our bridge that leads into town. Right before the bridge take a right down to go across the Des Plains river. Follow the dirt road on the right and youll run into some spots a couple miles down there.

Blazn1 07-24-2010 08:01 PM

Come on up the river to Willow Springs rd. and Archer Ave. Some good trails between the river and the railroad tracks.

Jisher 07-25-2010 02:31 PM

ill see if i can find it. Its right on the corner with ashbury's that coffee house correct?

Blazn1 07-26-2010 07:55 PM

If your coming up archer, turn left on the street before the 7-11 (before the intersection with the coffee house ect...) Follow that down to the stop sign and hang a left. You'll be going over the RR tracks. Make a Right after you cross them (you'll be under the bridge) there's a mud trail that runs along the tracks. I checked out your spot in Lemont last night. Looks like fun. Let me know when you go out, i'll meet ya.
