Seek, and ye shall find!

Outsyder beat me to it, but my "how to" is not the only one. Others have done similar light bars too. Loads of option around. Mine maybe went a bit OTT & was also specific to RHD Blazers in terms of the switching.

im going to use the rack but im just trying to figure out how to route the wires into the cab without drilling and causing a water leak... does anyone have a pic of where they routed the wire

I drilled through the roof under the roof rack foot. No leaks - yet!

same here. Havent had any problems. I made my light bar out of 1in steel tube. With plates welded on the end that mount to the roof rack. I will get pics up eventually along with all the other projects i did over the winter.

I ran it between the rear door and body weather stripping. I wrapped the wires with electrical tape where the wire touched the weatherstripping(due to the door opening and closing.) I've had the roof lights on there for 2 years, so far so good.

Hey I actually just got my light bar up and running the other week. I went to the local junk yard and purchased another lateral cargo bar so I had 3 total (the other 2 were being used to hold a spare tire). It only cost me $10. I drilled 4 holes evenly spaced on the bar and put the wiring for the 4 lamps inside the crossbar under the weatherstrip. Then I routed the wires inside the roof rack sides all the way to the back of the blazer and had the wires go behind the back windshield and finally routed them all the way through the interior to the front. Hope this helps! Blazers > Jeeps =P
