Mudding...
 

Well, I have been mudding before, just not in my own truck.


Just wondering, why do people mud with their windows down? How hard is it to clean the mud out of their rigs then lol.

Well its kind of a lose lose situation there...

If you mud when you have your windows down then you run the risk of getting mud in your truck but if you have your windows up then you have to find a place to wash them off before you get back on the road. 1. because its illegal to have your windows covered in mud (loss of vision) 2. if you arent thinking and roll down your window with mud on it then you can scratch your windows and it gets really annoying when you get little rocks stuck in there and its a nail on chalk board sound every time you roll your window down until they work themselves out. (been there)

i have too always wondered the question, it is definitely a lose-lose situation haha

I think I will stay away from it for awhile lol

My friends got a wrangler and he goes with everything off of it, the doors, the top, everything. He gets covered up to his knees in mud inside while sitting, but he still manages to look like he never went mudding the next day.

With our trucks, unless you have a/t's or m/t's that stick out past the wheel well, you shouldn't have mud on your windows. Now when you have backspacing like 4.5 and lower, then you'll have your whole truck covered if you go in 2wd hard enough.

Also, I found out a pressure washer type hose attachment is your best friend. A sprinkler under your truck is also your best friend. Just my .02.

yeah i always tried to leave my windows down. it sucks driving home, its like driving blind, its bad enough the side windows are covered but also the corners of the windshield.

here you can see where i had to stop at a gas station and clean the mud off

this was pretty much a 2nd vehicle. mostly for offroad but would drive it around occasionally so the mud inside you just put up with it. when it started to pile up i would just bust out the shop vac nd vacuum up most of it

And now that I almost have the SAS swap done it will even get more muddy .

Awesome pics guys. I am thinking of purchasing soft 8s,

I think that I would bring extra water to wash off the glass and leave the windows up.
