Oceano Dunes, CA
So me and my bud hit up Oceano Dunes in Cali for our Spring Break and took out my blazer for a couple days for some good old 4x4ing and camping.
WOW, how much fun it was. The Blazer surprised, no wait, SHOCKED ME! lol It handheld and drove so good in the dunes, even it 2wd it did great, kicked it into 4wd in the deeper stuff and for hills. Not one problem, or breakage, didnt get stuck once. well heres the pics and some vids :) sidenote: only thing was i wish I had the body lift on...gotta get on that. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...o/P4090131.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...o/P4070109.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...o/P4080112.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...o/P4080111.jpg just cruisin around http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...h_P4080114.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...o/P4080126.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...o/P4080125.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...P4080123-1.jpg goin up some hill http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...h_P4090132.jpg |

Nice truck, looks like a lot of fun. Are the black rockers, fenders and bumpers factory or did you paint it like that, either way looks good
|
this is something I would love to get the chance to do
|
it's all factory, except there was chrome stripping down the side and around the fenders, but I removed those.
yah, it was a great experience, did better than my old jeep too :P |
looks like a good time and a good way to test out the Blazers offroad capability.
