offroading question

when offroading (in lots of mud) is it better to have the best tires on the front or on the rear?

i have all terrains on mine, but my alignment was off and now i have some wear on the inside edge of my right front tire... the tires only have a few thousand miles on them, but the RF is worn down pretty bad on the inside edge. should i leave that on the front so i have more traction in the rear? or move it to the rear so i have more traction for pulling....

thoughts?

guess it can go either way. on mine i run the better tires in the back because i have the rear axle locked and figued thats where i want most of my traction and it should save a little wear off the front end.

where as a normal truck i would think id want them in the from where most the weight is and you have traction steering.

You need 4 good tires when off-roading
