Preparing My Blazer for Muddin

I have a 97' Blazer LS, and a want to start taking it muddin. Everything on it is stock, and I just need to know what I need to get to get it ready for some mud.

Do you want to get a lift kit or just get some mud tires and do a cheap 2" t-bar crank with 2" lift shackles and an alignment?

I wanted to get a full lift kit but which one would be better for the car. The kit or t-bar crank and shackles

The kit is probably better, but I think must people do just fine just cranking t bars and doing shackles. Count me in the second group btw.

If you can spend about $3000-$4000+ with suspension lift kit, 3" body lift for your year, and 33" tires, then you could get your truck to look like mine or like the few others who have 5-6" IFS kits :) ........If that's what you want. Or if you just want an inch or two and you have about $900, I say do a 2" t-bar crank, lift shackles, a body lift, and get some 31" mud tires. Hope that helps

Do I shocks absorbers or springs or anything like that for the suspension?

shocks no unless you get the coil over shocks for the rear. they add a couple inches
