pulled a dodge

Not really an offroad story, but my brother's friend's truck broke down and the lil ol s10 blazer pulled it on home with no problem! surprised the hell out of me. the truck was a lifted 4 door dodge ram 2500 4x4.

i always wondered what these thing could pull on flat land. you probably could pull a semi tractor trailer if you wanted too. i pulled a k5 blazer on 38s a few miles before when it broke down, even up a bridge, i just kept it in like 2nd and went slow

I did around 30 to 40 mph fastest. and it just cruised along. the guy I was pulling didn't know jack about being pulled so he jerked the s10 around a little. but it was all just a dead weight pull.

ya they are under weight IMO
pulling something so much heavier is not the problem , it would be being able to control it
I think my owner manual claims 5500lbs towing capacity :icon_really:

Yeah these blazers are tanks. I went off road and in a couple hours pulled 2 trucks out. One 4 door lifted tahoe and one lifted silverado 2500. both got high centered on a pretty steep mound.
Pulled them both out and towed the tahoe out of the park over some deep ruts and through some snotty mud. All of that, mind you, on bald tires :)
