Snow fun My blazer vs F350
Had some fun in the snow and ice the other night. My buddy has a badass F350 well anyway he had a winch on his truck and we decided to have some fun. I wanted to see what the blazer could do this probably wasnt exactly good on the trans/vehicle but it was cool. Our assend of our trucks were facing eachother he hooked his winch onto the back of my blazer. I put it in 4 low and he put his truck in 4low from a dead stop with his brakes on in neutral i pulled him about 2 feet. I put my brakes on and let him pull me he got me about 4-5 feet. We both put them in 4low and started pulling eachother and he probably pulled me about a foot. I thought he was going to yank me all around the snowpacked/ice parking lot like it was nothing.

Yeah, no contest if it was a diesel... Especially if he was running factory tires, lol.
If it's the V10, however, I think it'd be close... I once towed my buddies old Jeep Commanche (2wd) a good 15 feet in the snow, with my old beater Z34, before I noticed that he'd left it in gear (he ran out of gas). Tires make a major difference in the snow ;) |
RE: Snow fun My blazer vs F350
At work we have a rig welder with an F350 diesel with BFG AT's.
Zoomboom got stuck in the ditch, and the ford yanked it out like nothing, coulda dragged him all over with 0 tire slippage. but he does have a welding machine, oxy acetaline(sp) tanks, and a bunch of other tools in the back.........it weighs ALOT |
