soooo...........this morning i drop the kids off @ school & tear off to the local Mac's Milk to see if i had the winning ticket to last weeks draw.

taking a short cut through the mall parking lot, i went to go into Mac's parking lot and was met by this beast............

look at that suspension compress!

i nearly shat myself as i tried to tackle it, but figured if that jacked up F250 that just rolled past me could do it, then the Hulk shouldn't find it too difficult!

man, was i on pins & needles as i felt the G80 lock up the LR as all the fresh snow threw it's worst @ me. i was tempted to throw it in 4HI, but figured it was best to not do that, might end up getting more stuck than i wanted.

but she pulled through, spitting s**t out of the rear wheels as i flew over the crest!

if only i had as good of luck when i checked my ticket!

licking my wounds from that, i roll down the street to my buddy's shop with coffees in hand.

i find the only available spot out front, drop off a few coffees, shoot the chit for a bit, then decide to hit the road and do some job searching. i get to my truck, start 'er up, then remembered i left my coffee sitting on the bench.

lock my door (truck is still running, lights are on), head back in to grab it. come back out a few seconds later to find some Jetta parked right across the front of my truck, little more than a foot away! i ask the owner if he wouldn't mind backing up for me. he tells me to wait a minute, he's not done yet!!

WTF? you block me in, and then tell me to wait?!! well screw that. pissed about getting blocked in (and not getting lucky with the lotto) i throw it in reverse & stand on it! i bounce part way up the pile of ice & snow behind me, feel the rear wheels start to spin, ease off it, punch 4HI and get back on it, almost going over the top!

took a deep breath (and a few pic's ) and proceeded to crawl around the idiot. boy, did he come out in a hurry when he saw me driving down the pile! too bad, i was on a mission, get outta my way!!!

here's the highlight reel..........................

looks like my WIB left it's mark. i own that mountain now!!!

Damn, Chris! Tackling those obstacles like a pro! When did you put in the HID lights?

Children playing! Was that put there for you, Matt? Just kidding, but check you frame for any toddlers you might have hit.

thanks Matt, i do get quite a bit of practice.

ummmm............i bought both of Pat's (oktain) HID kit's.

lets see.........i think i bought his 9005's (HB's) in April, and put them in my modded LB sockets. then when Pat "sold" (ie; traded in) Layla for Sadie in June, he offered my his 9006 kit as well. now they're all sitting in their proper home.

been luvin' them ever since!

found a local dealer who has identical looking systems available. gonna upgrade the factory fogs soon. hopefully before the Winter is over.

he even has the upgrade systems for aftermarket fog/driving lamps and an awsome set-up for anyone who does the H4 conversion on the 1 st gens.
