I wish my friends were more motivated to take pictures. The trail has a lot more cool stuff than just "the pond". I didn't go through the middle because it eats jeeps with 35" tires so... last time I tried it went over my hood. one more reason I need a snorkel.

Great pics...

Cool pics... You've got a nice set-up! I really like the swing away spare tire carrier on a 4 door idea.
A hi-Lift jack will also attach up there on your roof rack... they come in pretty handy for giant hole extractions! lol

I've been in a couple situations where a high lift jack would have helped a lot

Is that private or public property? It looks very clean and well maintained if it's public. I wish I had access to some private property like that around here to go wheeling. Looked like you had some fun!

Nice, I wish I had a place like that close to me. They say a mud bath is good for the skin so why not the paint! : )

technically it is private property. its a acces road across the top of the mountain for a bunch of radio towers. the name of the road suites it very well "tower road". its the roughest access road I've ever driven on but my uncle works for the phone company and 2 of the towers are the companies. He said he has driven up there many times with the bucket truck which are 2 wheel drive dualies of course they drive around the puddles but its still hard to believe a bucket truck makes it through that road. there are tons of low lying branches and trees almost to close together to go between. funny thing is when I first went up I was met by a bunch of people in a white 2 door blazer and i went through the big puddle and they followed and I asked if they wanted to do some wheeling and the guy was like yeaaa. (when he roled down the window smoke piled out they were all stone out of their minds) I was surprised how well the stock blazer did for being such a rough road. They didn't follow me to the pond they chickened out and turned around. I'm sure if you ask around there is an access road similar to this one in your guy's area. I live maybe 5 minutes away from the city and there are a lot of trails that are hidden. I know a popular mud hole was actually in the city behind a local business before it go tor down and a building was built there.

that kinda sounds like where i am. there is a tgi friday restuarant and behind it is a bunch of woods.. where you can go mudding........:icon_couchhide:

I'm really digging that tire carrier. Was that meant for a 2dr? Or did you get it from the japanese blazers?

Benedict1337 06-07-2010 12:07 AM

I got it off of a bravada surprisingly and the roof rack. The girl didn't know if it came stock like that or if the previous owner had put it on. the bravada was pretty nice it had clearance lights and a wrap around brush guard and even the metal tail light covers. she didn't want to sell me the tail light covers...
