'00 trim on '96 blazer

So I bought this trim from a member on S10 forum and I stuck them on the car for a picture (They didn't stay on, but there was just enough of the adhesive on the back to stay long enough for a photo.) Once I finish painting, I'm going to put these on. I think it'll look nice. I'm not aware if anyone doing this before (has anyone?)

Yes, I am aware the trim is on the wrong side of the car. :icon_doh:

How can I apply these?

3M double sided automotive tape?

Most people take those off, not put them on...

I hope you didn't pay too much, I have a set I'd have given you for free if I knew you were looking for some :D

Hmm.. I'll have to look for automotive tape. I never had luck with normal 3M tape, but then again, it wasn't automotive.

Wouldn't stepping on the trim steps pull off the tape and trim? I would think about drilling and screwing or bolting them on.
