Right now I have the stock light with the stock translucent yellowing light cover on the dome light. Do they make a clear cover so I can brighten this up or need I fore go the light cover all together?

Thanks

No ideas?

You really need to give people a chance to read your post and respond. I'm sure you'll be reminded of the "24 hour" rule oretty quick.
I know that LMC has a new lens out for trucks but as yet I haven't seen anything for Blazers. They should. I'd buy a couple right now.

I asked because of the 30 views with no response.

OK. But check out LMC anyway. I don't know if you can make the lens work. I've been thinking about trying. They just came out with it. Here's the link.

got a link to LMC? All I have been able to find is replacement "white"

Gimpy Blazer Feb 25, 2010 12:04 AM

Yeah. I added to the post. Like I said it's only for trucks but I think I'm going to call them and ask them the dimensions. If it's big enough, I'll just replace the whole thing. I know the Blazers have a bigger light than the trucks.

People usually go to a junkyard and get a different light and swap them. If you put some good led's in there it will make a huge difference.

90Conan Feb 25, 2010 12:10 AM

Where can I get the LED? And swap from a newer year or just a less yellowed one?

Gimpy Blazer Feb 25, 2010 12:35 AM

You can get the light, new diffused lens and LED bulb with the stuff from LMC. I know. If I want to spend more than at a junkyard. 90Conan's right. All the lenses you see on these Gen 1s are yellowed. And of you get a white one, pretty soon it's going to yellow too. These clear diffused lenses would be the way to go especially if you wanted to really light up the interior which for an old guy like me is a good idea in case I drop my keys.

OK googling LMC then, heh

ah ha! Got it! Thanks Gimpy :)

An FYI if anyone wanted to know
