1996 chevy blazer rocker panels

Is there a way to remove my rocker panels on my 1996 chevy blazer 4x4 4dr without having to cut or weld? And if I fiberglass the rust hole, will that rubber rocker guard stuff protect it from rusting more?

what ever you do make sure all rust is removed and nutralized - if not even under fiberglass, bondo, paint, ect the rust will keep eating the fender out unseen

My rocker panels are shot, big holes and lots of rust! I found these online:

Rocker Panel OE Style 4Dr for 94-05 Chevy S-10 GMC Sonoma Blazer Jimmy Cab Panels

What is involved in removing my rusted rockers and welding these on. Any ideas as to how long it would take an experienced welder to do the job? And what it would cost? I will grind down the welds and paint it myself.

Its a lot easier to watch a video on this than to explain it, So head on over to youtube and watch a couple videos on rocker panel replacement (really doest not matter the application since the process is basically the same)

Its not a job for beginner. Theres spot welds to drill and lots of cutting. Then once you start you will be surprised at how much other rust shows up. You will end up having to replace the inner rocker too. Its also easier if you remove the door.
Lots of work. I just did them on mine.
I ended up having to replace the quarter and wheel arch. All of which had no viable rust when I started.
