Default 2nd Gen top chop questions

Hello all. I am new to this forum but not new to blazers, but I am wanting to know if anyone knows how if possible I would eliminate the lift gate and install the blazer tailgate and if anything needs to be added to the truck for strength if I chop the top off the back, thanks

It's been done before, some with hack jobs and very few outstanding results. Look up "Shark Blazer" IIRC for probably the best one.

This is about the closest thing I can find to a build thread of one that has been done properly. http://www.cardomain.com/member/blazeonn/
