'99 Blazer HID Install Stock Housings & 6000K Bulbs (Pics Galore!)
#11
before anyone goes off on the fact i used 9005 in the LB's, let me say that i tried 9006's in there, and found that the distance wasn't what i was looking for. obviously the 9005's don't have the painted tips, so they illuminate a little farthur, which is why i went with them.

i wasn't thread jacking 219, i had asked TJ to compare the HIDextra kits to the bulbs i had. since i'm in the process of getting kits for ALL the lights in my truck (that'd be 3 kits), i wanted to know what he truely thought of them. besides, i've already changed both LB's and now tonight, it's both HB's. so i'm sure the kits are the proper way to go.

you misunderstood that........i was saying i wasnt thread jacking....my kit would probably be a lil brighter in the stock housing over the euro housing,but i like the look of the euros....u have stocks in yours?

and yes, i have the stock housings in my Blazer. i think it's the bulbs that make it so bright-D'UH! that was a dumb statement! of course the bulbs do (2 days in a row folks, i still "the Tool of the Day").
here's what bulbs i'm using;

Isn't dropping HIDs into the stock housing illegal?
