Default Blazer to jimmy conversion

I have a 96 blazer and i like the way the 95-98 gmc jimmy has the bigger open grill and chrome trim around it. Lmc has the whole grill new for 70.00 and i wanna know is it a direct swap. The headlights look the same. Are they the same headlights? What all would have to be done for the swap?

You will need the core support out of that year jimmy in order for it to work.

I did a little reading on crosscanadaparts.com(great for interchange info) and it seems that the rad support is common on all 95-97s be it GMC, Chevy, composite or sealed beams. But, the headlights, grille and bumper are different between the GMC and Chevy.

I heard different, from different people, some say you need the core support, some say you just need all the brackets ect.

To go to a '98+ you need to change the core support for sure. I'm not sure this link will work, but...http://ecat.crosscanadaparts.com/bas...ge=welcome.php
