Actually, I looked more closely at the wiring harness under the drivers seat and it is the full power/heat/memory wiring harness. Later, I took the passenger seat out and widened the hole by the torx bolt spot and reached back under the carpet where the passengers' feet would be and pulled another identically wrapped wiring harness out. It doesn't have the memory feature, but I got a voltage meter and there are two always live slots and one that is just live when the car is on for heated seats. I'll make a thread about it when I get everything around.

that has nothing to do with the truck, it's in the seat controls.
glad you found wiring.
i find the seats in my '98 very comfortable. even for my size, on long road trips.

I don't think the memory feature was offered on the passengers side, and my original drivers seat didn't have it but my trailblazer ones do and it works great!

Yeah, I doubt that the memory feature can come on the passengers side but that doesn't matter to me at all, since I have one primary passenger. I'm just glad I won't have to wire anything up myself.
