Can i swap my 88 s10 blazer body to a 1999 to 2005 s10 blazer frame
 

Trying to find out if i can swap the body of my 1988 blazer to the frame of a 99 to 05 blazer xtreme frame as the frame on my 88 is rotted out

This is a throwback section to when we had quite a few members that were into graphical design, but can be a bit confusing given how high up in the order it is.

As far as the question at hand, anything is possible, but I can almost assuredly say it isn't going to be a bolt in swap. How handy are you with a grinder & welder?

If the frame is rotted out, I would bet there's a lot of rust on the body, too. You just may not be able to see it easily.
