RE: cb radio
I havnt gotten a new one yet for the 4x4 BUT, I ran a k40 in my 86 v8 safari van, I mounted it under the heater controls, just drilled the bracket to accomidate the factory holes.
What antenna are you using/going to use? K40 makes very nice 'glass ones and steel whips.(used to work in their warehouse 10 years ago, im sure their technology got ALOT better. |
RE: cb radio
i was looking at the k40 4' fiberglass or the firestick 4'fiberglass one

RE: cb radio
i mounted mine to the side of the center console where the cup holder is and mounted my whip antenna to the spare tire rack works great

RE: cb radio
Where would the 'best' spot to mount one be? I thought I read somewhere you want to have the cb antenna as far from the FM antenna as possible..but in the rear of the truck where is a good spot? Wouldn't a mount off the bumper interfer with tailgate movement?

RE: cb radio
I have a magnet mount antenna that stuck on my roof right above my rear window.
