Dash Piece Question
 

Hi guys, this is my first Blazer, but I noticed something it has in common with both s10s ive had. its missing the same piece in the middle of the dash. is there a reason this piece is commonly gone?

edit:found piece at pic-a-part. 20ish blazers. one truck had the piece!
