Fender Flare Question
I have a 2000 4x4 Blazer 4 door and i was just wondering if they made fender flares that would fit 4 doors. I cant find any. i know it would be a little difficult because the door would split the rear fenders. even if they didnt make any to fit my 4 door. would it be possible to just cut the fender flare where the door splits? has anyone ever done anything like this?
Thanks, Tyler |
RE: Fender Flare Question
LMC sells some for the S10 pickup, I wondered if they would work on a 4 door blazer as well(mines a 95)

RE: Fender Flare Question
ive never sold a set for a four door the molded ones anyway and if you where to cut them you would have a big gap between the two peices they are just hollow shells so it would look like a hollow half moon where you cut to fit they do make a universal set that is basically just a rubber molding they dont fit good nor do they look very good ill make some calls to my buddies monday and see what they can do and ill let you know more
also have you tried bushwacker? i know the 4 door blazer in on their list and they have 4 different type to choose from |
RE: Fender Flare Question
yeah bushwacker only has them for 2 door blazers they have em for 4 door blazers but i think only up to 94 i think.
whenever i have some extra money i'm going to order them for the 2 door blazer and see what i can do... i dont think it would look that bad if i cut it. i just dont know if the wheel wells would be the same size |
RE: Fender Flare Question
they should be the same size only might be molded different not really sure though

RE: Fender Flare Question
The rear doors on the 4 door are close to the wheel well. Because of this, a fender flare would need to be in 2 pieces to cover the rear wheel opening. On piece for around the opening and another piece for on the door to smooth it out.
Here's a pic of the ground effects w/ fender flares on my Bravada: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...avada_side.jpg *EDIT* - Now that I find images of the older body style 4 door, I see it's the same situation... |
