fender and rocker protection

this past weekend i finally had time to do what i been wantin to do. from the body line down all the way around my blazer i rolled on some dupli color truck bed coating to protect it better from the damn rocks that get kicked up. also hides alot of the scratches i had. i think it looks good and so does everyone else around here. as soon as i find my cam i will get pics. now just got to see how it holds up.

Is that black or body color, and is it any different than the old anti-chip coatings ? I've recently moved from the asphalt suburbs out to the sticks, so I've been considering an application of the clear anti-chip coating below the break line, but my last experience with it was years ago when it yellowed.

no, this stuff is the rough truck bed liner. looks like it has little rocks in it sorta. and it is black. my blazer is black so it isnt to bad.

Here is another good option. Its a clear plastic film that you stick to the fenders.

Cabelas is the only place ive seen it anywhere and the people at autozone look at me like im crazy when i try to explain what it is.

3M sells a very similar product to ^^^

I have been looking into purchasing something like this to protect the kickout in front of the rear wheels on my Bonneville after I get them repainted.
