Dash bezel or the radio frame in the center console?

You refer to din - do you mean "DIN Norm" radio size?

You may want to post a picture.

I need the dash bezel, while searching for the part I keep seeing the terms DIN 1 and DIN 2 in the descriptions. While searching for info
on this I ran across a post on here talking about a DIN 1.5 bezel,I don't know which one I have.
The radio opening is about 7 5/8 x 3 1/4,can you tell me which one I need to order?
I don't know how to post pictures.
Thanks for any help.
Did some more measuring and thinking would a DIN 2 bezel work, just have a gap around the radio?

DIN refers to the standard radio unit face plate size. Most aftermarket radios follow this standard, either being a single DIN or double DIN sizes. Most Euro and Asian vehicles up to the mid-2000's followed this standard as well, but North American vehicles rarely did.

The factory dash bezel for a 1998 would be a 1.5 DIN bezel. the 2 DIN bezels came with the 2003 and up refresh.

I'm still using the factory radio,I just need to replace the bezel the mounting tabs have broken and I'm tired of it flopping around.I haven't been able to find a din 1.5 bezel but I see din 2 bezels all over the place, can I use a din 2 and would it just have a gap around the radio?
Thanks for the help.

I am not 100% certain, but I believe that the 2 DIN bezel would clip in fine. It would just have a gap around the radio. I have not tried this myself though.

UPDATE:A 2 din will clip in in place of the 1.5 din, there is about a 1/4 in. gap below the radio though. If you buy one of the cheap chinese junk off of Amazon or Ebay make sure to not lose any of the mounting clips,,the clips they send with the bezel are junk. They"re made of
cheap spring steel and aren't bent in the right shape and the factory clips are impossible to find.

Thanks for sharing that information. I keep a bin of old discarded clips for this very reason!
