hit a deer, bent bumper, lost mirror
 

So kinda sad situation....

Was on my way to work tonight and coming down a small mountain road I deer ran out in front of me and hit it on the drivers side right on the back legs. It swing around and knocked my mirror off :(... Deer didn't have a chance... Speed limit was 55 and I got it pretty good

As u can see there is no real damaged except a bent bumper...car drive like it did before with no vibrations or anything out of the ordinary..

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Would a new set of bump brackets straighten this out do ya think? *All lights work and the only visible damage to the bumper is a small dent and it's bent (as u can see in the picture.) *I already had two mirrors ordered because the ones on there were JB welded on before (FACEPALM to O.R.)
it looks as thought if i fix it myself it would be far less than $1000 to fix...
Don't want to go through insurance because my deductible is $1000 in order to get a next to nothing monthly payment.

Keeping in mind I am planning on ordering the PA 2" BL... *So if that comes with brackets I wont even worry about it
Thoughts?

if your certain mech wise its fine....then i say its cosmetic then let it go.
check the bumper brackets..most likely you can straighten them out yourself.

sorry..but u have no idea how OCD I have about neatness and things being the way they should
So it will be fixed...I just needed some ideas on how to do so...lol
I can't just shrug it off....stuff like that bothers me

them deers could do some amount of damage

If i were you id pull the bumper out with a coming law (dunno if i spelled it right)
or hook your truck up to a tree and pull on the bumper slightly till it straightens its self out .

In dunno how but the problem is that it's bent up...not in
So hooking it up to a tree would pull it further out than it would have been originally.... I'll see if I can get a better picture in garage tonight

ahh from the pic it looked like it got bent in

well you can always remove the bumper its only 6 bolts

2 on the bumper reinforcements and 4 under the grillie

when i dented my dads bumper with my blazers brush guard i took the bumper off to knock the dent out and painted it
its real easy

Remove your bumper and straighten it all out will be under 100.00 Max its not bad at all

Appreciate it fellas...I'll see what I can do with it tomorrow.... Since the PA body lift comes with bumper brackets....is me trying this even necessary if I'm getting the lift?
