How to removing headrest on an ´98 backseat
Hi Guys,
I need a little help at my ´98 seat conversion.
I have good conditioned backseats of a 98 modelbut they smell like an old dead nutria.
So I want to wash them. But to get the seat cover off the seat, i have to remove the head rest.
How can i remove it?
Tried to pull it of the bars was not successful.
Thanks for your help.

Not sure if it's the same on the rears, but I think you have to fold the seat fabric up to the headrest, then reach into the seat and release the headrest. At least that's how it was on my Neon.

I got the solution.
On one side of the headrest, there is a button, which must be pushed in to adjust the height.
On the other side is a little hole, where a small screwdriver or something like that must be pushed in, and so you can pull the headrest off the seat.
The rods of the headrests stay in the backrest, where is the folding mechanism.
Thanks for your idea Random.
