Inner tailgate cover
 

I've got a 94 1500 blazer with the tailgate not barn doors. Trying to find a replacement for the inner tailgate cover/protector. What I have is 20 years old, plastic, and starting to crack and brake. I'd love to find something metal but I've scoured the web and can't find anything at all.

Links or suggestions would be great! Yes, I'll live with plastic if I must, but I'd like new not old and busted.

I'm having trouble visualizing it, and can't find a pic. but I think you could use wiggle board, or masonite, covered in carpet, or if the tailgate is flat enough diamond plate, or if it exists, black rubber that looks like diamond plate.

good luck!! I've been looking for the same thing for my s10 blazer and it's like it doesn't exist. Let me know what you do though because I'm up for any ideas myself

If you want metal, your best bet would be to fab something up.
I am not sure if you checked LMCtruck? Could also try a GM dealer
They could at least maybe tell you a part number to point you in the right direction.
