Interior Roof Light replacement?

Hey guys, this is 1 of the 2 roof lights over the backseat. Is there any way i can get a blue LED light to replace this? I can't find one that has the metal hook on the end like that. Thanks

Not to sway your opinion, but blue will get old after awhile. I have a white LED instead. And it is sooooo bright, but good lighting.

What you need is a festoon bulb. I'll post back here when I can get a link to one.

The bulb size is a 211-2 festoon bulb. Search for that.

Here is a link

Here is what mine looks like installed.

Sorry, I don't have one with the light on at the moment.

1998 Chevrolet Blazer LEDs

These? I don't see how they'd hook on to each side though??

Ahh danget, on the 98+ Blazers they set them up differently, there's a plastic piece that comes down in between the two and the metal connectors are farther apart, I don't think it'll work.

Actually for me I didn't have to bend the metal. It is a snug fit despite what the picture looks like. But you may very well have to bend it a little so it comes in good contact.

Post up some pics when you get them installed.

This is mine. Is it any different from yours? The metal connectors seem farther apart and there is a plastic piece that comes down a bit inbetween the two.

You guys have 2 different set ups. My front dome light is the hook style too.

211-2 561 562 564 9 SMD LED White Rigid Loop Bulbs NEW | eBay

Take a look at that bulb. Just check the measurements on the ebay part as to yours. Then search "562 LED" and find the best deal and one you want. They can be had in blue, but as mentioned before it will get annoying. I put a clear one in my domes and blue in the footwells.

Yes, this is right. Sorry for the mix up. I based what bulb to use off my 96'. I guess this is yet another difference in the setup of both 2nd gen's that we have.

Ranger, while you are here, let me ask you an led related question lol. All my interior lights are upgraded to led's besides the footwells. Well I have the 194's to put in my footwells. My problem is mine are dangling and can't figure out where they are supposed to be screwed in at. Do you have a pic to show me by chance?

I'll take a look for you by the end of the week. I have to change the HVAC and some cluster bulbs, so I'll take the kicker panel off while I'm at it and see how it mounts. I wiggled it just now and it definitely it mounted onto something, as it's pretty solid on there. Not a pop-in for sure.

So i ordered 2 panels for the back and 2 for the map lights. I found an easy way to replace the map light bulbs. Ill post pics up of the interior tonight when it gets dark out.

There is 1 screw twoards the front that you take out and then you just pull down...it seems like its going to break but it just pulls out and then snaps back in. The bulbs just pull out and the new ones snap in.
