Lmc truck has some skids plates, some type of plastic and then some aluminum skids.

what year?
2dr or 4dr?
is it a Zr2, K5, 1st gen s10 or full size, 2nd gen?

believe it or not there is probably some cat that makes the stuff for Cherokees and Wranglers on craigslist near you. fab skills are a dime a dozen now that no one has any work, especially in MI. check it out. contact a few, and see if they can fab something to your sepcs or modify some cherokee gear to fit you. that will save you a ton over buying some smitty built gear and converting the mounts.

how much lift do you have on there, and how badly are you beating on her that you need to start armoring up?
because you should also share some

diff armor
go into a junkyard and take the older style gas tank armor and covnert it to you application

T-case, front diff, and front skid plates can be had from a junkyard with a ZR2, ebay, and from members parting out their gear.

go to the junk yard and find a zr2 they have a lot of metal skid plates you could make work. I'm still on the hunt for a zr2 thou, apparently they aren't very popular in the junk yards

Ok I been talking to a guy on pirate that is interested in starting a production of s-series bumpers and willing to make other parts. He currently has a line of fullsize chevy, jeep, and ford ranger bumpers hes selling.

links to his work if you guys wanna check it out. He has one of the best looking grand cherokee plate steel bumpers I've ever seen anybody make.

I've already started building my own bumpers but offered and gonna ship him my templates for a starting point on first gens. I'd love to see the 4x4 aftermarket pick up for s-series like it is for other makes. Hell there has been bolt on airbag kits for years and we just now got a bolt on SFA kit this year.

DISCLAIMER
I am in no way shape or form tied to him or his shop. Just putting this info out there for anybody that wants to try him. I have not done business with him myself so I am not standing behind him or his products. All I can say is he has good feedback over on pirate, looks like a great bumper from pics, and the guys that have dealt with him seem happy.

i've been reading your build thread so far, and was wondering if you guys were simply gonna show case bolt on products, or show some fab content?
