mirror options.........
Well, I went through the local car wash to get all the salt from the latest snow storm off. The last time I went it snapped my antenna off and I bought a new base and mast ($26.00 for both with my discount) and removed my right front fender to install...So this time I removed the new antenna to prevent that mess again. What happens half way through? The da......mn thing broke my driver's side mirror off!!! AAARRRGGGGGGG! So I am now looking for a set of mirrors either the factory style (elephant ears) with power or some nice aftermarket mirrors with power.....any suggestions?

RE: mirror options.........
You should get the Street Scene Cal-Vu Sport Mirrors. Mine cost about $180 shipped off of stylinconcepts (I think it was that website) and they are awesome. You want this part:
Chevy Truck S10 1999-2004 With Electric Mirrors 950-11240 Even though it says S10, it will fit your blazer. Here's a pic too. Also, if you want a pic of them on my blazer, let me know and I'll get one for ya. |

Yea, the heated ones are nice but more expensive of course. Here's a pic of the mirror. It's not very good because I just took it in my garage, but you get the point. Maybe I'll take better ones tomorrow. They best thing about the mirrors is that they are paintable so you can paint them to match your truck which I should do.

RE: mirror options.........
heated you say do they come with a seperat switch or do you wire them into the rear defog switch.
|
RE: mirror options.........
I have no idea how to wire them that's why I never bought them. You can check this site out for Street Scene part numbers and such. From autoanything.com, the regular power mirrors are about $181.95, and the heated power mirrors are $221.95 for a 99-04. If you even want, you can get built in LED turn signal lights in the mirrors, and if you're really crazy, you may be able to get power, heated, turn signal mirrors. Wow.

RE: mirror options.........
Do the power ones just plug into the factory harness if you have power mirrors?
I might order one power and one manual, lol, You only really need power on the passenger mirror... |
RE: mirror options.........
Yes, the Street Scene mirrors have the "white plug" and plug right into the factory harness-no modifications neccessary. Drperry, as for one power and one manual, I don't think they sell the mirrors individually like that, atleast I don't think so. They may though, you can call Street Scene toll free at 888-477-0707 and ask them and they could probably make up a special order for you....
