I need help ID'ing a color or getting a paint code if possible. Yesterday i came across a 95 Blazer 2 door in the Junk yard that was this sick blueish/purplish color but then the sun hit it the paint when light purplish. I Looked for the paint code but couldnt find it. I have also seen this color on a s-10 flareside.


Does anyone know what color it is??? I wanna paint my Mustang this color.

 

Go to a bodyshop. Tell them you're interested in getting a pearl paintjob that goes blue-purple. I know exactly what you're talkin about, but I don't have the code. There's not a lot of varieties when it comes to pearl paintjobs, so what they show you will most likely be exactly what you're looking for. Just a heads up though-Pearl paintjobs are VERY expensive.

I'm not sure, but I believe theres a special trick to painting with Pearl paint. Look into this and if there is, make sure your friend knows it. That's a good deal though! I have a buddy that offered to paint my car for free as long as I did the prep work and bought the paint. I just don't feel like preppin! lol
