Hey guys, I’ve been searching and can’t seem to find the part numbers for the GM door pins and bushings. Does anyone know the OEM part numbers? The original bushings are shot in both of my doors

 

What year Blazer?

 

I’ve got a 2001 S10, pretty sure same pins/bushings as the same year Blazer?

 

I mean, I'm asking what year you have because I have no idea. For all I know you could be talking about a K5 or something. I didn't want to give you the wrong parts.

I was considering a Dorman set, but all the reviews I’m seeing online say that their bushings are very brittle and may break upon installation.

 

No, the set in my Blazer was ordered from a GM dealership because the shop had to reweld my door anyway so they figured they might as well see if any were available. The reviews for the set I linked are mostly positive though.

I will probably go that route once mine lose their effectiveness.

 

I used a cheapo set from Amazon and they worked great. No issues at all.

 

The sets I replaced in my two old 1st gens and my ex's blazer that she had were Dorman's from Orillys no problem what so ever ....

 

I finished up the door pins/bushings today without a hitch. Lubed the pins with magnalube before installation, and pressed in the bushings with a homemade bolt/washers/15mm snapon socket press. Everything went well and the doors close nice now. Thanks everyone for your help
