Nightshade VHT tint

I have the spray tint on my turn signals, and my tail lights. how would it be on my head lights? with a very light coat... would i lose alot of headlight power/visibility?

Yes, you would. That's a bad idea. What I would suggest is buy a set of Smoked headlight covers. That way you can take them off for night driving.

do the covers take away much light? i would HATE taking them on and off. if you look at my pics you can see the turn signals and bow tie blacked. i think doing the headlights would look awesome but i dont want to spend 40$ on it. take a look and let me know what you think. and if the headlight covers NEED to be taken off at night

The covers would be even worse for night visibility. dosent take long to take them off. Better safe then sorry.

That's why I suggested them. I'm buying a set for my headlights, and corners after I'm done customizing. That way I can drive it around day or night with the covers off, and put them on for Car Shows.

oh ok! well i don't know what to do! maybe get actual tint film put on the headlights... and just smoke them. not black them like i did my turn signals. i just dont know! haha

First check your state laws. In a lot of places tinting or darkening headlights is illegal.

okay, thanks!

I wouldn't recommend it. That raises serious safety issues in my eyes. Sure, it will look good. But it would seriously cut down on visibility at night.

I know that I loose a lot of light just with a salt film from the road on my lights. i can't imagine trying to drive with my headlights tinted. I have seen the covers attached with Velcro so they can be removed at night.
