Offroad lights

I have an overhead light bar I'm going to install soon since I'm doing the bodywork and paint. I haven't figured out a good way yet to run the wires. I don't really want to drill a large hole in the roof unless I can come up with some kind of really good grommet to seal the weather and water out. Any suggestions on running the wires?

What I try to do is run the wires back to the rear hatch, run them down on the outside of the weather stripping to the bottom of the hatch, then into the interior and up to where you have your switch or relay.
