Patch Panels??
Has anyone here done any body work on their second gen? I pulled the wheel well trim off the drivers rear wheel flare and found ALOT of rot so I'm thinking of getting these patch panels. I'd upload a picture but I broke my phone so I cant lol. But yeah I'd recommend that if you have that wheel well trim that you pull it off IMMEDIATELY lol so it doesn't wreck your ride like it did to me. Heres the links:

I dont have much experience with body work but I have replaced a floor pan before, came out pretty good and I know how to tack weld and make everything smooth. The only issue would be painting it. My idea was to just replace the wheel flare and then do everything under the trim line in rhino liner lol. Thanks y'all! |
I just did the same thing on mine. Mines a ZR2 so they don't make a full wheel arch for the two door. I used the ones you posted but if you have a 2 door those will only do about 2/3 of the arch. Mine needed the front quarter section replaced to so that left about 4" so I just made a piece for that.

The ones I bought fit good. I only used the wheel arch section. I'll post a pic later when I get on my computer.
I shopped around for mine for the best price which was around $50. |
Wow that aint bad at all, the ones I'm looking at are $53.75 so I think I might go for it.
