Patch Panels??

Has anyone here done any body work on their second gen? I pulled the wheel well trim off the drivers rear wheel flare and found ALOT of rot so I'm thinking of getting these patch panels. I'd upload a picture but I broke my phone so I cant lol. But yeah I'd recommend that if you have that wheel well trim that you pull it off IMMEDIATELY lol so it doesn't wreck your ride like it did to me. Heres the links:

Right side: 1995-01 S10/S15 Blazer/Jimmy (4-Door) Wheel Arch Rear Section Passenger Side

Left side: 1995-01 S10/S15 Blazer/Jimmy (4-Door) Wheel Arch Rear Section Driver Side

What do you guys think? I dont have much experience with body work but I have replaced a floor pan before, came out pretty good and I know how to tack weld and make everything smooth. The only issue would be painting it. My idea was to just replace the wheel flare and then do everything under the trim line in rhino liner lol.

Thanks y'all!

I just did the same thing on mine. Mines a ZR2 so they don't make a full wheel arch for the two door. I used the ones you posted but if you have a 2 door those will only do about 2/3 of the arch. Mine needed the front quarter section replaced to so that left about 4" so I just made a piece for that.

Oh alright. Did you have any issues with fitment or was it pretty much cut and re-weld? Any quality issues? Thanks in advance btw

Ya pretty much is cut and weld... Smooth prime and paint... Ya might wanna try rock auto. They might have better prices for prebent panels.

Alright, good to know. I'll see what I can do any post up some results. The only two things I'm worried about is 1, I suck at painting, lol, and 2, I don't know what I'm gonna have to do about the rotted out inner wheel well. Because since that is gone, I'll have nothing to weld the flare on to. Well hopefully I can conger up something, lol.

The ones I bought fit good. I only used the wheel arch section. I'll post a pic later when I get on my computer.
I shopped around for mine for the best price which was around $50.

Wow that aint bad at all, the ones I'm looking at are $53.75 so I think I might go for it.
