primering blazer

ok, so im almost done sanding down all the paint on my blazer, and i was gonna go get some can-spray primer from advance auto, i was just wondering if leaveing it just as primer for a while would be ok?

the primer will absorbe water, if I remember right you have to clear over the primer.

it will be ok for awhile, your going to have to sand it before you paint it, and maybe hit it with another coat of epoxy to make sure the paint will stick before topcoating.

no need to clear over it.

If you are doing it with spray cans make sure you use an arcrylic based primer.
