Radiator Fluid in carpet

Default Radiator Fluid in carpet

what is the best way to get radiator fluid out of the carpet? i had the heater core blow out and dump radiator fluid all over the passenger side interior. ive replaced the heater core and now i need to know the best way to get the radiator fluid out of the carpet.

When my heater core cracked all i did was suck it up with a shop vac and let it air dry lol

Maybe see if you can rent a small carpet shampooer and give it a good cleaning also.

i have that same problem will just regular shampoo carpet cleaner do the trick?

It should, the "antifreeze" in the coolant is water soluble, that being said it should come out with shampoo and water.

i would soak most of it up then shampoo it.. i have to wash the cargo space rug in my truck to get brake fluid and gas out of it

thankx with back breaking work i got rid of it now all thats next is that old sliver plastic trim that i gotta do
