Remove pinstripe and molding

First off im new to the forum and liking it but to get to my ?, i took off the passenger side moldings and it lokks great but i was wondering if i could take of the front and rear moldings with the same chrome and black pattern, it looks as they are connected to the bumper idk. and my other question is how do you remove the pinstripe properly? thanks

RE: Remove pinstripe and molding

Ill try and answear this the best i can, my blazer is a 98 and it had the small black and chrome plastic trim pieces around the wheels, I removed them pretty easily, is this what u want to do as well? if so there should be small bolts around the bottom of the moulding take them out and carefully pull the trim off. EDIT-Ok i just re-read ur post, but ill leave that other stuff there in case you need it, the front and rear bumper trim should be the same as the sides but check underneath if you can to see if there are any small bolts or anything that might be holding it on. as for the pinstripe, im not to sure, i would try a heat gun or a hairdryer and remove the glue with solvent.

ok i thought they might be bolted in, try and take them out like you wanted to do, but trouble is, whats under the trim? it might turn out to be an ugly mess and more of a headach. but anyway try it and let me know how it goes and post pics if you can. good luck

Im not too sure what you mean, are there pieces of trim that wouldnt come off? and how does it look without it on, do you need to fill the holes in and smooth it out or is it pretty decent? and your wellcome for the help
