Hey guys! I just removed my front lip, and i wanted to know if i should get rid of this little vent thing that leads to the radiator. I have a feeling it will scoop up dirt when off road. What do you think?

1st off what year etc (looks like a 2nd gen.) & HELL no! I wouldn't anyway.
That's what helps cool the rad & engine, ac condensor etc. The front valence that you removed also helps with that.
Some have removed the valence for clearence, looks etc & have said no ill effects but IMO if you do any long hauls, towing, hot climate etc you'll want as much cooling as you can get for our single core rads etc.

I agree with Rotti I wouldnt touch it

I have my valence removed but I wouldn't touch that if I were you its designed to move air into and around your engine compartment to aid in cooling your engine. I have never picked anything up with mine being like that so I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the input!

My cooling system should be top notch anyway, the water pump, radiator, hoses, and intake manifold gasket just recently were replaced. But i definitely wouldn't want to do anything to put more stress on the cooling system.
