Replaced the door pins, but what next?
 

I replaced the door pins on my gen 1.5 95 Blazer but door still hangs low below the catch and feels loose when pushing up and down and is misaligned. Passenger side is the same way. What is the solution to getting these doors to close right and not feel misaligned?

Was the hole the bushings and pin go in tight, or was it worn out? As the hole wears, it's not gonna have a tight fit, and is gonna let the door sag

New hinges is the solution, but gm decided it would be good to weld them to the door, and to the body. If you don't weld/have a buddy who does, a body shop can probably replace them. No idea on cost, though

Pins and bushings were tight. It is as I figured...new weld job. Do the sell the hinges new and weldable?

Sounds like the holes in your hinges have opened up and have gotten eg shapped too far for the direct replacement bushings to be effective any more and keep the door properly aligned. There use to oversized bushings available from a company online, I posted an install thread some time ago when I got my first set and installed them onto my 04 Blazer. I've since bought 2 more sets over the years, but it doesn't seem like they sell them anymore...

I can tell you, since I just had this done for my Blazer a few months ago; cheapest rate from about 10 body shops I looked at was $950. The parts and everything were cheap, it's the welding labor that makes it so expensive. By comparison, a local Chevy stealership wanted $1600.

What?! $950!!?? Forget that lol. I'm lucky, I have a buddy with a welder. I'll see if I can talk him into doing mine

I wonder if you could simply drill holes and bolt on a new set of hinges...
