Sharing a door fix

So I guess all the older blazers have the problem where the bushing wears out on the hinge pin and then the driver door won't close cleanly and easily. I bought the crap replacement part at autozone and they sell you a pot metal bushing that of course gave out in a couple weeks. I didn't even check GM cause I know the way it goes $$$. So at Mennards...hardware store. I got the only flange bearing that looked like it would fit and it was bronze. And walla, or or-ay-voila, whatever...it's fixed and won't break in a week. 1.89, It's called a bronze flange bearing and although the shaft is an inch long rather than the much sorter on that is oem, it is perfect and probably better in the long run. Thought is was kind to share that success. Good luck!! email if you need the specific size or part number, I can get it.
