sliding back window glass latch

i have a 85 s10 pick up truck with the sliding back window. how is the latch attached to the glass? ive bought the latches before for the side windows on a k5 and they just screw on, this has no where to attach it.

I'm pretty sure they are molded in as part of the trim/seal.

No, it's glued on. Get a rearview mirror repair kit with the glue and glue the latch back on. I had to do that with my 86 S10.

I haven't seen anyone sell a latch ever. I had to reuse mine. If yours is gone, you'll have to find a new window most likely.

Its a crappy work truck. If the junkyard don't have one ill just find something to put in the rail
