Snapped off body mount bolt

Ok here is my next and newest problem.....I got some used nerf bars that I'm mounting up and snapped off the drivers side front body mount bolt. I have been looking around this sight and have seen where some have been drilling holes in the floor or drilling the bolt out. Don't really want to drill through the floor. Just wondering what other options I might have? Drilling out the bolt wouldn't be bad, thinking I would have to tap it back out but how could I tap nut on the back side? Could the nut and bolt be completely removed if I take out all the body bolts and jack up the body? (my luck I would snap off other bolts doing this) Is there a way to access the nut from the outside if I drill out the bolt and just replace the nut?

Thanks

The problem that you will run into when attempting to drill out the bolt is that it tightens into a square nut up inside the body that really is not tight to anything. It is called a caged nut in that the surrounding sheetmetal is loose enough to allow for some minor movement for alignment while close enough to keep the nut from spinning around completely.

So what options would I have? If I did drill through the floor can anyone help me on where to drill? I don't have much experience locating where to drill in situations like this.
