Default Spare tire arm SQUEAKING

Does anyone know how to get the spare tire mounting system on the back of my ZR2 to stop squeaking while I drive down the road and trail???

Put some anti-seize or silicone caliper lubricant on the rubber pads. I have to do it to mine every couple of months. Try it on the tailgate and window latch too.

the window latch is where the squeaking is coming from. You should be able to adjust the latch a little to help it.

Same here, how do you adjust the latch?

it's getting really loud (since it's getting colder) and annoying

I just wrapped a little electrical tape(about 3-4 turns) around my u shape latch mechanism and pin, cheap temporary solution till I can figure out something more permanent.

Yes I'm new, and will get profile set and pics up soon, Just bought her!!
