Tow Hooks
 

I am thinking about removing my front tow hooks and replacing them with fog lights. Are they attached to anything inportant and do they hold anything on? I looked last night and it looked as though it is just 2 bolts holding them on and they would come right off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer if that makes any difference.

You can remove them easily, just take out those two bolts you saw. However, if you ever need flat-towed for some reason, it will make it harder to find a secure place to pull from. You will have to fab something up that extends out to mount the fog lights.
