Default Trail Blazer swap update

Progress is being made. I'm picking it up Friday night for a show on Sat. then I'm bringing it back for paint. I'll post picks of finished sheet metal work in primer this weekend or some time next week.

looks cool, I think the TB front end conversions are nice. Are you going to keep it white?

Thanks. The grille is going to remain grey with the spear white. I have billet inserts for the grille and a billet bowtie for the center. I've seen all white grilles and I think it does not look good.

hey i've seen this before but i never know what all is involved! do you have to cut/weld? or is it an exact fit?

People do it diffenent ways. With mine a Trail Blazer header panel is sectioned and mounted to the core support. You have to cut quite a bit out of the core support to get the header panel pieces to fit. Fab up some brackets to mount the header panel pieces. After the lights are set you need to section (shorten) the grille and spear and bond the pieces back together. You then need to do sheet metal work to fill in the gaps in the hood and fenders.
