Wet Floorboards

I have two blazers. One is 99 and the other a 91. They are both 4dr 4x4s. The 91 driverside floorboard has been getting wet when it rains for years, and I just recently noticed that my 99 is doing the same. Is this common, and what do I need to do?

Check your door hinge pins. Common problem for the bushings to wear out and cause the door to sag. If left for too long, the pin can start to eat into the hinge taking the repair cost from less than $20 to possibly over $200.

Thank you, and is that why I have to give my door a good slam to get it to shut completely?

yup, also check your door latch, they're made of plastic (stupid i know) and break if you slam the door and the pins are shot

Is this a tough do it yourself? or are there any special tools required?

You will need a door spring tool and the pin/bushing set. The tool goes for around $13.
