What is this and can I remove it?
Ok, so I'm tired of looking at the trim piece around the window (I partially circled it in red below) and seeing it all scuffed up. How do I remove this? Looks like its held in with some tabs but I don't wanna go prying at it without knowing for sure. Gonna try to get it off and repaint it.

Its part of the whole window. If you remove it, you will be windowless. You can sand it down, prime it and paint it to make it look better (while it's still on the truck).
They are famous for pitting and fading...just about every 2dr Blazer I've seen is pitted and faded...including mine. |

Thanks guys. Weekend after next I guess I'll finally have to grow a pair and prep & paint something while its ON a vehicle for the first time in my life haha. What grit(s) of sandpaper should I use for prepping this? Also, any suggested primer, paint, and clear?

I would think something in the 180-200 grit neighbor hood should do you just fine sand paper wise. Paint is on you man. WAY too many variables in what you WANT to suggest a paint. :D

Not sure if this will work because i do not have that piece on my car but try a bottle of back to black.. works for all the trim on my car

I have that issue too, and it is really bad from the Florida sun. I need to redo them.
